Really happy and cheerful host on arrival who shared some local knowledge of the penguins and even offered me muffins to have with a cup of tea. Convenient location, close to historic area which we loved. The property is a little dated in the bathroom but functional. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and met our needs for the night. The host was one of the friendliest people I have come across in motels whilst travelling NZ

We are a family of 3, travelling with our dog and this place suited us perfectly. Added bonus, the motel is just next to a big park and therefore was good for morning and evening walks with him. The unit is well equipped, clean, tidy and the rooms are spacious. Situated on main street but was quiet and driving distance to attractions were close to it. Wylie at reception was very welcoming and friendly.

Ideal Motel for our needs.

We were greeted very warmly, We had an extremely comfortable suite, a nice surprise as we had not expected so much space. As it was close to the main road we thought it might be noisy, but this was not the case. The motel is situated close to the main area of town. Our host left a delicious breakfast in our frig, far better than we have had on any of our travels. Not being used to a TV we found if very straightforward to use, and were able to get BBC to watch the Queen's funeral. We would stay again and defiinately recommend it to friends.
